Due to having two days of lots of walking back to back the past few days and kids who aren't used to sleeping in the same bed together thus keeping each other up, I haven't done a post the past few days to recap our adventures. Today during our siesta time I actually napped, we didn't get to 10 miles of walking today aaaaand the kids are maybe (knock on wood) getting more used to sleeping together so I actually have the energy tonight to get caught up.
September 25th highlights
Steps: My watch rest before I totaled it all up it was somewhere just over 20,000 steps for the day and 10 miles
Highlights of what we did ...
We started with breakfast at the Gran Caffe Gambrinus again, which quickly has become our go-to breakfast spot because it's so close to our Airbnb and it's delicious.

Afterwards, we walked through the Basilica Reale e Pontificia di San Francesco di Paola, located next to the cafe. I'm continually amazed beyond words at how detailed and beautiful each building, especially the churches, are in Italy. So vast and beautiful and every last nook and cranny planned out and executed.
Lunch was a bit of a walk to Ciro Cascella Pizzeria 3.0 for lunch. As it should be, we have been eating pizza for just about every meal in Napoli. Erik found a nearby cigar shop that has Cuban cigars and off we went down to the beach where the kids collected shells and walked though the water for a little bit before heading back "home" to siesta fo the afternoon. By then, we were up to at least 8 miles of walking so were all exhausted!
Dinner was then at Pizzeria Speranzella, a place close to our Airbnb in the ever fascinating alleys of Quartieri Spagnoli followed by gelato at it Gelato, which has quickly become our go-to for gelato while in Napoli.
