It's official. Today (or rather yesterday and today?) was our traveling and we officially made it to Naples. Our journey felt very long and consisted of neither children sleeping even one wink all night long. Half of the night was in the plane and half of it was in the airport going through customs etc. Meanwhile, when it felt like 2 in the morning to us, it was 8am here in Italy. So we began our sleepless day that consisted of good food, more traveling, grumpy kids (and adults) who were way too exhausted and of course gelato.

We also didn't learn our lesson from our last trip to Italy and just went with our Apple Maps GPS (that does not know which "roads" are truly roads one can ACTUALLY travel on trying to get as close to our AirBnb as we could in the heart of Naples. One-ways were gone down the wrong way, streets too narrow to travel were turned onto, Italians held up their hands and said "no, no" as we tried to turn down their tiny little narrow business alleyways. I'm always so amazed to see just how narrow of streets cars can drive on while humans are walking and vastly riding mopeds all around without a care in the world!

Steps of the day: 10,016

Food of the day: Sustable in Fiumicino and Pizzeria Laezza near our Airbnb
